The best slice you’ll never eat

This particular Pizza neon shows a generous, hand-drawn whole pizza – crust, melted cheese, a few rounds of pepperoni – in a style that owes something to the chalkboard menus of New York pizzerias. It’s the obvious centrepiece for a takeaway counter or the back wall of a sit-down trattoria.

We bend it from flexible silicone LED in our Polish workshop. The acrylic backboard is laser-cut to the contour of the pie, which means the sign reads as a clean shape rather than a rectangle of plastic with a drawing on it.
