Will it disturb my sleep?
This is the most common question – and the honest answer is: only if you leave it on at full brightness during sleep. Two solutions:
- Switch off at bedtime – just like a lamp. The sign is decorative.
- Add a dimmer (£25 upgrade) – set it to 10–20% for night-light effect.
- Smart plug (Tapo, Shelly) – schedule auto-off at 11pm.
LED neon emits very little blue light compared to phone screens or LED bulbs. It is gentler on melatonin levels than your typical bedside lamp.

How is it mounted?

Can I dim it for night use?
Yes – add a dimmable driver upgrade (~£25). You can set anywhere from 10% to 100% brightness. Some smart plugs (Tapo Smart Plug) also offer scheduling.
Is the cable visible?
The cable runs from the sign to the nearest socket (1.5–3 m). Most customers route it down the wall and use cable covers (£5 from Amazon) or paint over them. We can pre-cut the cable to your specified length.
How long does the LED last?
50,000 hours of operation. At 4 hours/day evening use, that’s 34 years. At 12 hours/day, 11 years. 2-year warranty.
Does it hum or flicker?
No. LED neon is silent and flicker-free. Only old-style glass neon hums (because of the high-voltage transformer).
Is it safe near children / pets?
Yes. 12V low-voltage – cannot cause electric shock. Surface temperature stays at room temperature + 10°C (warm, not hot). Mount it firmly to the wall to avoid pets pulling on the cable.
